Overview
A high-performance real-time multiplayer card game hub developed in Unity and C# supporting both 2-player and 4-player match modes. The hub features two fully-implemented card games: Sheib (a traditional Arab card game of matching and shedding) and I Doubt (also known as Cheat, a classic card game based on bluffing and calling out opponents).
Technical Features & Architecture: 1. Real-time Multiplayer Replication: Developed client-server game state replication using Mirror Networking. Optimized synchronization of card hands, timer states, and player turns via Custom SyncVars, ClientRpcs, and TargetRpcs to minimize latency and bandwidth. 2. Dedicated Server Matchmaking: Integrated Unity Gaming Services (UGS) to handle client matchmaking, game lobbies, and on-demand allocation of dedicated game server instances. 3. Backend & Economy: Powered by PlayFab, implementing secure user login, remote game settings, global leaderboards, persistent player stats, and an in-game virtual shop/economy. 4. User Experience & Localization: Integrated RTLTextMeshPro to support Arabic right-to-left layout and localized fonts for a native Arabic playing experience. 5. Monetization: Integrated Google Mobile Ads for ad delivery and monetization hooks.
